A fourth generation Montanan whose family roots run deep in the Ag community, Randy Gerringa was born and raised in Dillon, MT., where he attended Beaverhead County High School and participated in various service organizations and sports with baseball being his “first love”. After baseball tryouts with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Texas Rangers, Randy chose to be a Grizzly and attended college at the University of Montana and later a Bulldog at the University of Montana Western where he earned a BS in Business Management and Secondary Education.
After spending nearly 20 years with CARQUEST auto parts throughout Montana and the Pacific Northwest in various capacities ranging from Operations Manger to District Sales Manager, Randy was ready for a new challenge. After becoming very good friends with NBS sportscaster Rocky Erickson, Randy lost a golf match with Rocky and thus began his career as a Marketing Specialist with Northern Broadcasting.
With Randy’s vast business experience in customer service, marketing and management; his desire to help regional business’s succeed with a sound marketing plan is his “stated” goal.
Besides helping the businesses of the region succeed in today’s competitive environment, Randy’s main focus is spending time with his wife Helen and daughter Erin. In his spare time, Randy enjoys the outdoors, golf and donates his time to several organizations including the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Yellowstone County Big Brothers & Sisteers. He also enjoys working with Special Olympics where his involvement with one athlete has resulted in a made for TV movie and “15” seconds of fame on ESPN.
