Federal "Race to the Top" program inclusion by Montana could earn $10 to $80 million if requirements are met

As part of the federal "Race To The Top" program, Montana education officials are creating a plan to compete for federal stimulus dollars, reserved for academically high performing states, where Montana could earn between $10 and $80 million, if it meets all the requirements. Denise Juneau, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, says the application the state has put together justifies Montna's inclusion in the funding competition.
