Following a hearing Monday morning, Judge Donald Molloy in U.S. District Court in Missoula, Montana has made no decision yet on whether or not to stop wolf hunts in Montana and in Idaho.
Ron Aasheim with the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks spoke with Northern Ag shortly after the hearing was wrapped up. He told us that Judge Molloy did not rule from the bench. Rather, he was going to contemplate what had been presented to him and decide at a later time. It is unknown when that decision will be made.
Wolf tags went on sale in Montana Monday morning and the wolf hunt is set to begin Tuesday in Idaho.
