The Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission has approved a more expansive wolf hunting season. Trapping of wolves will be allowed for the first time and the per-hunter bag limit is being lifted from one wolf to three. The new rules are intended to keep  the wolf population high enough so they are "delisted" under the Endangered Species Act.
