Will Lt. Governor and Democratic US Senate candidate John Walsh (D-MT) finally get out and actually talk about the issues?
Mike Smith has this for The Montana Standard:
Tester on Walsh: "It basically falls on him and he has to let people know where he stands on the issues, and I think he will.”
The pressure from Montana Democrats must be building as the DC establishment has already backed Walsh, allowing him to stay back and remain silent while the establishment raises money on his behalf.
The point wasn't lost with the campaign of former Lt. Governor John Bohlinger (D-MT):
Meanwhile, you likely already heard the news that the conservative Americans for Prosperity is already on the airwaves with an ad thanking Republican US Senate candidate Steve Dainesfor his opposition to Obamacare. If you haven't seen the ad yet, here it is:
And, from way out in left field, the dark money anonymous blog run by the same consulting firm behind the Walsh campaign says Republicans need to support a bailout of the insurance companies, or else they can take the blame for putting those same companies out of business.
This is ironic given that the MTStreetfighter blog is run by staffers connected to Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) who authored Obamacare:
Could these Republicans, who are simply playing to their base actually be accomplishing what Democrats have failed accomplish for years: single payer healthcare?
The idea is a simple one: either the ACA stays the way it was written or the TEA Party plays politics, they repeal Sections 1341 and 1342 of the ACA, and private insurance companies crumble.
No private health insurance companies would result in a cleared path for single payer healthcare.

So, Senator Tester thinks democrat Senate candidate Walsh will let people know where he stands on the issues.
Uh,excuse me Senator Tester, but it is very dangerous to one's political career to be truthful...especially if one is a democrat candidate.
For example, I give you President Obama and his recent re-election. You do remember him saying you can keep your healthcare, your doctor, and your wife if you like them!
Oh, sorry, I'm just kidding about the keeping your wife part! The president didn't didn't actually go that far otherwise divorce lawyers would be working around the clock.
But, you know what I mean, right?

What a hypocrite Montana's phoney pharmer saying "Walsh has to get out and let the people know......." In the past year I have received 44 e-mail updates and questionaires from Rep Daines asking this Montanan how he feels about certain issues. I received 17 responses from Sen Baucus to questions I had e-mailed to his office.
Having sent Tester a similar number of correspondence as I did to Baucus and Daines I received just one e-mail from his office and it was seven months after my first e-mail to him.
Way to get out and see what Montanans want Jon!!
