Construction Begins For MSU’s New $50 Million Dormitory

Construction has started at Montana State University for a new $50 million student dormitory and parking lot off West College Street to help the campus accommodate its record number of students. Thanks to heavy rain, earthmovers were idle Monday, but work is already under way on the first phase – paving a new parking lot to replace the Antelope parking lot, the sit of the new 480-bed dormitory. It lies just west of Wally Byam Park and the 11th Avenue roundabout.
