Stat Of The Week 93-19!

The half-time score was Montana Tech 66 and MSU Northern 0!  The final score 93 to 19!  Now in that win the Orediggers of Tech set a new NAIA national record with 932 yards of total offense!  Tech had 519 rushing yards and 413 in the air.  The 932 yards broke a 42-year-old record of 914 set by Lenior Rhyne back in 1975!

Montana Tech running back Jed Fike had 247 rushing yards and scored four times!  All of his 247 yards came in the first half!  Fike leads the nation averaging 156 yards a game!  The 93 points scored by Tech is a new school record.  The old record was set during week number two of the season when they got by MSU Northern in the first meeting 70 to 27!

Montana Tech is ranked 5th in the nation averaging 52 points a game and second averaging 607 yards of total offense.
