The First From N.D. To Play in the Shrine Game!
This is year number 25 for our Network broadcasting the historic East – West Shrine football game. The 72nd game from Great Falls will be played on Saturday night on the new turf at Memorial Stadium. This is also the first time that as many as five class “C” players are on one teams roster. The five suiting up for the East this weekend include: Caleb Knoche of Forsyth, Keagen Stroop of Belt, Riley Linder of Scobey, Jeremiah Paine, Grenora N.D., and Treyton Pickering, Sunburst/N. Toole.
Riley Linder of Scobey has put up some big numbers the past two seasons, rushing for more than 3,300 yards and scoring 70 touch downs. Than we have Mr. Jeremiah Paine of the Mon-Dak Thunder. Paine passed for 8 t.d.’s in the state championship, he also set state records for the most passing t.d.’s in a season and a career.
