Broadcasting Live-Montana Petroleum Association's Annual Meeting with John Harpole-Mercator Energy

    9:00 AM-10:00 AM

It’s time for the annual meeting of the Montana Petroleum Association on August 30th and Voices of Montana will be there broadcasting live!

The keynote speaker and our guest will be Owner and founder of Mercator Energy, John Harpole.
At the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Billings.
John Harpole, the CEO of Mercator Energy, touted the “shale revolution” that extracts natural gas from rock deposits.

“I just feel like this administration (Obama) and potentially Secretary Clinton has completely fumbled the ball on the advantage we have,” he said.

“How many years of energy do we have under our feet?” Trump asked him.

“At the current price point, we probably have 120 years of natural gas,” Harpole said, adding, “This argument about sustainability in my mind doesn’t apply to the shale revolution. … It’s no longer a resource that is scarce.”
