    host to Nordicfest. This year we have
    expanded our venue by now making it the
    “Libby Nordicfest Heritage Festival.”
    Libby has such an amazing and diverse
    heritage we’ve decided to welcome all
    to be a part of this Great festival.
    Be sure to mark us on your calendar
    and plan on being here.
    We are welcoming all, Food Vendors, Craftsman,
    Parade Participants and others to participate in our new festival.

    Montana Jail Over-Crowding! Should We Worry About It?

    Big Horn County Jail was constructed nearly 40-years ago. Today the jail is beyond its capacity, deteriorating, and no longer capable of meeting the community’s growing detention needs. Overcrowding in the jail jeopardizes the safety of officers, staff, and inmates. Undersheriff Mike Fuss and Big Horn County Commissioner George Real Bird will be on the show to discuss conditions in the jail, the upcoming jail expansion measure, and why Two Rivers is not a viable alternative for the County.

    Hoofin' It For Hunger With Gil Gasper, Young Farmer & Rancher Board Chairman

    9:00 AM-10:00 AM

    Hoofin’ it for Hunger is a trail run (or walk!), hosted by Montana Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers and Fort Keogh. All proceeds benefit the Montana Food Bank Network. Since the race’s inception, they have raised over $36,500 for the Montana Food Bank Network.

    The race is a professionally timed trail run through farm fields, cow pastures and along the Yellowstone River. Choose from a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or 1 mile fun run/walk.  There are many great prizes, race shirts, and more!

    Hoofin’ it for Hunger on VOM will have Gil Gasper, who is the Montana Farmers Union & Young Farmers & Ranchers Chair; Bill Mathews with the Montana Food Bank Network and, Nicole Rolf, who is on the “Hoofin’ it for Hunger” committee board plus works as their National Affairs Director.
